"We frequent the coast as often as we can. After a few months I have to get in the salt air. For the past few years we have been going to Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach, the kids love it and so do I. In just the past decade there have been huge changes in the seafood industry as it ages out and the fishermen get squeezed out of prime real estate. One of my favorite spots to visit and paint is Cook and Cook’s Seafood. I am not sure if its open any more, I haven’t seen a shrimp boat there in quite a few years.
