"On this brilliantly bright evening in Apalachicola, Florida, the late afternoon light on an old retired oyster processing plant, tugged at my eyes and my heart. Yes, I love oysters, and I might add that I truly enjoy painting a bit of history. Age on a building (or face for that matter) intrigues me. Character. This place had it in spades. Come to think of it, that Florida Gulf Coast sunshine makes everything look beautiful.
