"This was our first night on “ Dirk & Debbie’s Big Adventure “ , it also marked the first of what would become Lobster at every meal for Debbie. I have always loved the water, and sitting outside watching the sunset behind fishing boats gave me the inspiration for this painting. I also decided to name one of the boats after my newest Granddaughter “ Francie Lou “, the other boat the “ Marina Claire “ is homage to our daughter Marina (Boat Dock) as I call her, who was invaluable in helping us get our boarding passes online; not an easy task for either of us." - Dirk A Walker
